Hello, I'm Chico!
Hello, they call me Chico. I am a whopping 8 pounds of fun. The vet thinks I am about a year old.
I love playing with my doggy foster siblings, and I am very interested in all the kids who come over to play. I earn my keep by protecting the yard and home from all invaders – especially those pesky squirrels running along the fence and tree tops. I am working on my doggy door mastery and I am crate-trained.
I like my cozy little space and warm blankets. Oh and toys.. I love toys… fluffy ones, squeaky ones, bouncy ones.. just all of them. Still trying to figure out how to tell which ones are for me and which was are for my humans.
I am a bit skittish around new people – it was a rough road to get here. I spent weeks on the street fending for myself. But I am awfully thankful for my foster mom and her son. I try to show them with all the snuggles and kisses they can handle. I think I would do best in a home with other pups who could show me the ropes. And also to have playmates. I love a good game of chase and tug-o-war. When I tucker out, I just need a quick nap and I can go at it again.
I like kids as long as they are not too wild… I prefer to be the wild one. I am working on my basic commands, but I totally understand when you tell me to go to my crate.
