How to Adopt
Thank you for considering adopting one of our animals into your forever family!
More importantly, thank you for adopting a rescue animal!
When adopting through Animal Justice League, we want to make the process
as transparent and easy as possible. Here is what you can expect:
- Once you find an animal you're interested in adopting, the first step is to
fill out an adoption application. The application is available at the bottom of each pet's page,
here, or you may download the form here to
manually complete, and email back to email@example.com.
- After receiving your application, we will review it and contact you
to clarify any outstanding questions. Based on what we know about the
animal, if you seem to be the right fit, we will schedule a meet-and-greet
with the animal, as well as a home check.
- If the meet-and-greet goes well, and you still want to adopt, an adoption contract must
be signed and an adoption fee paid.
- You are then free to take home your new best friend!
