Stan is a one-year-old gray and white short-haired tabby. This handsome boy was rescued along with his brothers Kenny and Butters from a demolition site in Houston. While his siblings have begun to find their place in the world, Stan is still patiently waiting for his perfect match. Stan is a cat's cat — he absolutely thrives in the company of other felines and would do best in a home with another friendly cat to show him the ropes. When it comes to humans, Stan is a bit more reserved. He likes to take his time getting to know new people, and he’ll need a calm environment and a patient adopter willing to give him about two weeks (sometimes a bit more) to truly settle in and feel safe. Once Stan feels comfortable, you’ll see glimpses of his sweet and gentle nature. His trust is something you earn, and once you do, it's incredibly rewarding. He’s not the kind of cat to demand your attention — instead, he watches quietly, learns your rhythms, and slowly starts to show affection in his own quiet way. If you're looking for a companion who gets along beautifully with other cats and you're willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel secure, Stan might be the perfect addition to your family.
