Otis is a 5.5 year old adult cat. Otis is a lap cat that exhibits dog-like behavior; he grew up with a large breed dog and several cats from the time he was a kitten. Recently, due to a change in family living situation that conflicted with Otis's needs, he was surrendered to AJL by his owner. Otis flourishes in an energetic household with multiple animals and humans, as loneliness prompts him to vocalize his distress - which can be troublesome in apartment living. He is currently flourishing in the current foster’s home which includes a large chocolate lab, 2 adult cats, and 1 senior cat. He has fit seamlessly into this dynamic with no behavior issues. Otis is very accepting of other humans and animals; however, Otis hates being shut in a room, or out of a room. Otis will sleep on your head, chest, lap, or any solid surface just to be close to you!
