Pepper was rescued from a cruelty situation and took time with her foster family to learn how to trust humans. Now that she’s adapted to The Good Life ™, she’s looking for her forever home! Pepper, whose last name is “Oni,” is an independent and confident dog. Extremely playful and happy, Pepper Oni needs to be in a home where she’ll get all the attention she deserves. She’s headstrong and sassy, so Pepper’s ideal home would be with a family who’s ready to spend time helping Pepper follow your house rules, if you have any. The good news is that you can get Pepper to do just about anything for a treat; she’s extremely food motivated and will plop her fluffy butt on the ground the instant she spots a treat in your hand. Pepper is comfortable as an indoor dog, is bell-trained and potty trained, and prefers to sleep on the floor next to your bed at night. Pepper is friendly with all humans but is still learning her manners so we don’t recommend smaller children until she can stop treating them like bowling pins. Pepper is also a Professional Splooter ™ so be prepared to give lots of butt scritches.
